1. Some challenges that I have faced transitioning into college would have to be the fact that I was leaving my mom in Los Angeles. But not only that I was leaving my friends and my other family. It has not been easy being away from my family.
2. Now that it is left up to me to do everything it makes me feel that I have to take responsibility for my actions. Talking to my roommate she seems as if it is much easier for her because she is from the Bay Area.
3. Setting goals are extremely important because it will allow you to do work and it will allow you to complete all work and tasks that you need to complete.
4. It is important that you take responsibility for all of your actions because if you don’t then you will be putting your life on the back burner.
5. As a younger girl I and many of my friends suffered from low self-esteem the way that we tackled the problem was to join this all girls program called Step up Women’s network.
